Funding agreements
Heritage MAT operates under a Master Funding Agreement with the Department for Education. This agreement sets out the overarching terms and conditions for the Trust as a whole, ensuring compliance with national standards and accountability requirements.
In addition to the Master Funding Agreement, each individual school within the Trust has its own Supplementary Funding Agreement. These agreements outline the specific arrangements for each academy, including funding allocations and operational responsibilities.
This dual structure provides clarity and consistency:
- The Master Funding Agreement establishes the Trust-wide framework.
- The Supplementary Funding Agreements ensure that each school is recognised as a distinct entity with its own governance and accountability, while still benefiting from the support and strategic oversight of the Trust.
See above for the funding agreements for each school as well as the master funding agreement for Heritage MAT.
