Mick has had over 50 years involvement in the national system of education and schooling in various roles including that of a teacher, a local authority adviser and national policy adviser. He has a broad understanding of curriculum, assessment and pedagogical issues drawn from experiences across a range of educational roles including teaching at secondary, sixth form, further and higher education levels and for a brief period of time as a local authority adviser.
